At a glance, the Moon Valley Women’s Club website is relatively straightforward. The layout is simple and designed to be easy to manage. Most of the website contains member-related content, so users must be logged in to access it.
In this case, that’s exactly what Moon Valley needed: a website that volunteer admins with limited computer experience (mainly Word & Excel) could maintain.
The website also needed to cover some very specific tasks which are broken out in the case study below:
Initial Bid + Planning Phase
Below is a link to the main nav Desktop prototyping. I also built in the lead capture for the hero image at the top.
Keeping the client in mind, I labeled as much as I could and tried to keep the elements large and easy to read. To get final approval, a higher-fidelity mockup was needed.
User-friendly solutions
Again, keeping the users in mind (both the volunteer admins and the subscriber level users), I took a turnkey approach to make everything easy. Placing icons on the dashboard to make navigating WordPress easier was just the beginning.
